Minister Butler to open Medicines Management 2024 in Adelaide as call for abstracts open
The Call for Abstracts has opened for Australia’s largest scientific pharmacy conference as the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA) confirms that the Hon Mark Butler MP, Minister for Health and Aged Care, will deliver a Ministerial Address at the Opening Plenary of Medicines Management 2024 (MM2024) this November.
Senator the Hon Anne Ruston, Shadow Minister for Health and Aged Care will open Plenary 2 of MM2024, held under the theme ‘It starts with a spark’, attracting world-class speakers and leading research that will excite and inspire pharmacists, technicians and their peers.
Abstract submissions are open to practitioners from all care settings until 11.59pm AEST Monday 15 July 2024, and are welcome in three categories: original research, pharmacy practice and case reports.
SHPA Chief Executive Kristin Michaels says it will be a pleasure to welcome Minister Butler and Senator Ruston to the stage of what is shaping up as another blockbuster conference in the heart of Adelaide BioMed City, South Australia's world-class precinct of research translation and innovation.
