Training Program resources and tools

AdPha Communities

A suite of resources, learning tools and information is available for Training Program Leads, Preceptors and Candidates through AdPha Communities.

Within AdPha Communities you can:

  • access training program resources (like relevant frameworks, assessment tools and templates, and guides on ANZCAP)
  • receive updates from the AdPha Training Program team
  • collaborate with members from other training program sites

Private communities are available for each of the groups below:

  • Resident Training Program candidates
  • Registrar Training Program candidates
  • Training Program Leads

You can access AdPha Communities online here (or via your Member Dashboard), or you can download the AdPha Communities app.

Because these are private communities, you must be enrolled as a member by the AdPha Training Programs team. New Resident and Registrar candidates are enrolled after registering their program commencement with AdPha - please make sure to register (Resident candidate registration / Registrar candidate registration) if you haven't already.

If you would like to request access then please reach out to the AdPha Training program team at trainingprograms@adpha.au

The Australian and New Zealand College of Advanced Pharmacy (ANZCAP)

Training Program candidates record and submit evidence of their evaluations and other activities by completing Learning Experiences (LXs) on ANZCAP throughout their program.

Program Leads and Registrar Mentors are also able to view the submissions and track the progress of their candidates on ANZCAP.

By the end of the two-year training program:

  • Resident candidates will have completed a portfolio of 50 LXs as outlined in the AdPha Resident Training Program Framework which demonstrates the required competency, knowledge and skills for ANZCAP Pharmacist Resident recognition
  • Registrar candidates will have completed a portfolio of 50 LXs as outlined in the AdPha Registrar Training Program Common Framework or practice area specific framework which demonstrates the required competency, knowledge and skills for ANZCAP Pharmacist Resident recognition

Guides to using the ANZCAP platform are available within the Resources section of each Training Programs community group.

Access to ANZCAP is free for anyone with a current AdPha membership. A training program portfolio will be activated for all Resident and Registrar candidates when they register their program commencement. As noted above, please make sure to register (Resident candidate registration / Registrar candidate registration) if you haven't already.
