Do you want to showcase your accomplishments as you advance in your career?
ANZCAP is here to support you.
ANZCAP is a landmark program recognising career progression and specialty skills, enabling pharmacists and technicians from all practice settings to be recognised for their experience and expertise.
ANZCAP’s recognition program will enable the achievements of practitioners to be clearly and concisely understood by their employers and peers, by healthcare colleagues and, most importantly, by the patients in their care.
ANZCAP supports pharmacists and technicians working in Australia and New Zealand to track and plan their career toward Resident, Registrar and Consultant (Fellow) recognition, conferring certification and use of ANZCAP post-nominals.
ANZCAP comprises an initial Foundation Program that acknowledges prior professional experience and an Independent Program for anyone, anywhere to map their own path. These are now open to all Australian pharmacists (Ahpra General Registration), with the Foundation Program opening to New Zealand pharmacists in late 2023.
Training Programs to fast-track recognition progress over two years, recognition for Pharmacy Technicians and Custom Portfolios for personal professional use will be available in 2024.
ANZCAP is powered by an intuitive digital platform enabling practitioners to seamlessly record evidence of their experience and expertise and collate portfolios aligned with one or two of 40 specialty disciplines, via the Independent Program.
Get ready to be recognised.
A joint initiative of SHPA and the New Zealand Hospital Pharmacy Association (NZHPA) ANZCAP is a leap forward for Australian and New Zealand health care which has been many years in the making.
